What are BPGC Membership Qualifications?

  • Age: 21+
  • Legal: Full compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws.
  • Licensing: 
    • Valid PA Conceal Carry Permit
    • Current PGC Range Permit or PA Hunting License.
  • Process: 
    • Submission of written application 
    •  Interview Committee Review 
  • Conduct: Commitment to club values and safety.
  • Status: 
    • Members must remain active;
    • Missing three consecutive training sessions without communication results in inactive status.

     

    What is the cost of an annual BPGC membership and what is included?

    • Annual Fee: $75.00
    • Member Benefits:
      • Two (2) complimentary training sessions in Basic Handgun Fundamentals.
      • One (1) official Blackfoot Pocono Gun Club T-Shirt.

    What Training and Skill Development does BPGC offer?

     Education and proficiency are the cornerstones of safe firearm handling.  As a BPGC member, you'll have access to structure training:

    1. Class Registration: reserve your spot for all classes through our certified instructor's platform.
    2. Information Access: Details about your training, including dates, times, locations, will be communicated after we receive your membership fee, proof of your PA issues Conceal Carry Permit.
    3. Continued Learning Opportunities: Additional training is available throughout the year at a starting rate of $50 per hour.  This  training will help member achieve qualifications for Level2 - Level4.
    4. Registration Link will be sent out to members two weeks prior to Classroom Training Sessions. 

     

    What is the purpose of BPGC Annual Qualifications?

    The BPGC firearms training and qualification program ensures members possess the knowledge, safe handling habits, and proficiency necessary for responsible firearms ownership.  All members must pass the Annual Basic Qualification to maintain membership in good standing. Additionally, participation in group Range Events requires prior completion of the Fundamental Qualification.
